“I love that Field Materials is constantly improving its software. If I ever have a question, you are always there for me.”
Established in 1984, Diversified Interiors has been providing high-quality acoustical and drywall contracting across the Texas Panhandle all the way down to the Permian basin, Western Oklahoma, and Eastern New Mexico. Today, Diversified Interiors is a fourth generation family owned business that works on a range of projects from ground-up construction to simple interior renovations.
As the company scaled, manual procurement processes and disconnected systems created inefficiencies that slowed down operations and added unnecessary complexity to day-to-day work.
“It’s great to see updates rolling out all the time, even small fixes show that you’re paying attention. With Kojo, we’d report an issue and wait weeks. With Field Materials, I know it’s getting handled instantly.”
Before implementing Field Materials AI, Diversified Interiors was manually entering and verifying invoices, a time-consuming and error-prone process.
Initially, the team was using Kojo, but quickly faced a host of problems with it. While Kojo connected with FOUNDATION, their accounting system, it couldn’t properly handle the differences in pricing and shipping units of measurement. It created a problem when reconciling invoices from their primary supplier – DMS (a subsidiary of GMF). When Tammy voiced this, representatives were slow to take action and fixes weren’t made for weeks. It was a frustrating cycle.
Because of those limitations, Tammy and her team had to check each invoice manually against vendor quotes and purchase orders, a tedious process that led to human error and delayed invoice approvals.
“We order materials in pieces, boxes, or units, but they’re billed by the thousand linear or square feet. Kojo just couldn’t get the math right. It never matched up.”
Diversified Interiors replaced Kojo with Field Materials AI, fully integrated with their FOUNDATION accounting software.
Now, all material orders have a unique PO number. Their primary supplier includes the PO number on every delivery slip and invoice, which is then automatically matched by Field Materials AI.
When discrepancies occur, the system flags them for review, allowing Tammy’s team to resolve issues quickly. Once approved, invoices are imported directly into FOUNDATION, eliminating manual data entry, cost coding, and matching.
“Now, the order’s placed with a PO number, the invoice comes into Field Materials, and it’s processed against that PO. I just approve it and send it to accounting. It’s so much faster.”

Field Materials AI has eliminated manual data entry and invoice mismatches and established a unified, automated procurement process for Diversified Interiors.
