Field Materials AI brings a seamless experience with Stratus, syncing packages and their bills of materials directly from Status into Field Materials. The integration makes it easy for field staff to request Stratus prefab packages and for purchasing teams to automate ordering of materials.
Field Materials imports all the project’s packages and associated BOMs from Stratus. Field staff can look up each project’s packages (prefab items in Field Materials) and request them for prefabrication using the mobile app. When the prefab manager approves the request, purchasing team can automatically order materials from the vendors. Field staff and shop staff can see the status of these orders and which items have been received.
You need to get your app-key and then use it to connect Field Materials to Stratus. Field Materials securely stores your app-key and uses it to query Stratus API for all packages, assemblies, and package BOMs.
Field teams use the mobile app to check the status of each prefab order (Materials Requested, Materials Received, In Production, etc.). They can even see which and when materials have been received. When the prefab order is fabricated, they can also use the mobile app to request to ship the packages to the job site.
Yes, prefab shop staff can open any prefab order and see all associated packages with the associated bill of materials. They can see which materials have been ordered, when they are scheduled to arrive, and which materials have already been received. This way, they can start production of certain assemblies and packages as soon as materials have been received.
